Pricing Methods

Dook provides two pricing methods, fixed and distance-based pricing method. The difference is simply that theĀ  fixed price is pre-defined and constant and has two types:

  • Normal delivery
  • Express delivery

Normal delivery and Express delivery are effectively the same thing but sometimes you want to have a certain SLA with the client to delivery in a shorter time with a higher cost. Also, the order can have multiple pickup point and you can add more cost per additional pickup point.

The second type of pricing method is distance-based which depends on 3 factors:

  • Base price per pickup point
    • You can have multiple pickup points in one order
  • Distance in KM
  • Trip duration in minutes

You can set the default prices in the settings as show below
